Mike Butkiewicz There are contradictions in the article, as stated at the beginning. This article is me talking through both sides, being:

1. If we as designers lack diversity than can we really represent diversity within our user base effectively without letting unconscious bias’ get in the way.

2. It is our job to investigate and design for diversity and we do this by using research methodologies to help us get inside the users footprints.

We need to ensure that if we do lack diversity in our designers, we research properly and without any bias to accommodate for diversity in the user base.
